So what makes us different than other search firms? How are you more than a revenue source? Our core client principles; we value client relationships more than placement fees, we believe that efficient processes lead to quality results and we believe this is best done through honest and concise communication.

Ask The Audience

Prior to launching, we spoke with hiring managers about their experiences working with recruiters. What made the process successful? What would you improve? Using that information, and our prior knowledge of the industry, we honed our approach. Relationships > Placement Fees

Hiring Manager #1: “We hired a candidate from a search firm. However, we have not heard anything from the recruiter (or the firm) since the candidate started. The lack of post placement follow-up made the whole process feel very “transactional” and left us with a bad taste.”

Hiring Manager #2:“We engaged a firm to source for our open role. I was presented an overwhelming number of resumes, some of which did not even have the proper skill set. If I wanted to see dozens of resumes, I would post the job to Indeed and run the search on my own.”

RS Solution: Bottom line, our candidate screening process is thorough. As former accountants and finance professionals, we truly understand the experience candidates have gained throughout their careers and how it is applicable to your job opening. Personality is also key. By getting to know our candidates and clients on a personal level, we are better able to answer the question, “Will (you, the hiring manager) enjoy working with this person for 40+ hours a week?” We will only present qualified candidates who possess the skill set, and fit the company culture.

Honest & Concise Communication

Hiring Manager #3:“I met with a recruiter in my office to learn about their business, and to discuss our current/future hiring needs. In the days following the meeting, I was bombarded with marketing emails from multiple people at the firm. Please remove me from your mailing list.”

RS Solution: Our job is to be conscious of the fact that on top of filling a vacancy, you have to worry about your own job responsibilities. Unlike larger (performance metric driven) recruiting firms, we will not reach out just to increase our dial/connect numbers. Nor will we send you unsolicited mass emails. We know you are busy, and will not waste your time with non-value add dialogue.
